Magnus sighed. "I have been in a number of relationships," he said. "But that doesn't change the fact that I am hopelessly in love with you, and no one is going to come along and change that, alright?" Magnus knew that Alec was self-conscious when it came to his past relationships, but Magnus never knew how to explain to him that he was the only one that he wanted.

Magnus gave him a confused look. "What could possibly be better than you?" he asked. HE was really just trying to prove his point, but he meant it too. Alec was the best thing in his life and there was no doubting that.

Magnus sighed. "Please," he said. "If I wanted Jace, I'd have him. The thing is, I don't. I want you because you're my kind of perfect." To Magnus, Alec was perfect. The only problem was that Alec didn't see himself the way that Magnus did.

Alec looked over at Magnus and pursed his lips. "You mean that?" Alec asked. No one had said anything like taht to him they all said taht about Jace but not about him.

Magnus smiled a little. "Of course," he said. "I love you." He took Alec's hand and smirked a little, happy that he'd sorted the whole thing out now. He hated seeing Alec upset, especially when he was the cause of it.

Magnus smiled and ran his fingers through Alec's hair. "Good," he said. "Because I wouldn't know what to do with myself otherwise." Magnus meant what he was saying too, even if it might have been a bit cheesy.
