Creating your character
Step One: Read The Rules. The very first thing that you should do after registering is read the rules of this board. Most of them are fairly self-explanatory, but they are important nonetheless. It may seem boring, but it's better to have read the rules and know to follow them, than to accidentally break them later.
Step Two: Choose a species. On Blood Ties, there are species from The Vampire Diaries, The Mortal Instruments, Vampire Academy, and the Caster Chronicles. You can go through the species board to read descriptions on each species and choose one for your character.
Step Three: Character Registration. The next thing that you should do, after you registering and reading the board rules, is fill out your character application. Every character MUST have a character application. This helps us get a feel for who your character is, as well as give us some important information about your character such as their species and location. Your character must also have a face claim. A face claim is a celebrity or photo used to represent your character's appearance. Before registering, please check the face claim list to see if your face claim is taken or not.
Step Four: RPing. Now that you've created your character, you are ready to start RPing. To help with this, you can go to the RP REQUEST and request a thread, or you can start or join any open threads. Have fun!
